GMETRI is a selective, systemic herbicide formulated with Metribuzin 70% WP, ideal for controlling a wide variety of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds. It can be used both pre-emergence and early post-emergence, providing flexibility in weed management programs for crops such as soybean, potato, sugarcane, tomato, and wheat.

Metribuzin acts by inhibiting photosynthesis in weed plants, leading to chlorosis, necrosis, and eventual weed death. GMETRI is absorbed through roots and leaves, ensuring systemic and long-lasting control. It supports better crop establishment by eliminating early weed competition and promoting vigorous crop growth.

Dosage & Application:

Dosage:
200 – 300 g per acre (depending on crop and weed intensity)

Application Method:
Apply as a spray using flat-fan or hollow-cone nozzles. For pre-emergence use, apply immediately after sowing before weed emergence. For post-emergence, apply when weeds are in the early stages (2–4 leaf stage).

Timing:

• Pre-emergent: Just after sowing

• Post-emergent: 15–25 days after sowing, based on crop and weed stage

• Do not apply on sandy or low-organic matter soils
